Shelton Police: Monroe woman involved in fatal crash over the weekend

A 44-year-old Monroe woman was reportedly involved in a fatal crash in Shelton that left a Shelton motorcyclist dead over the weekend weekend.

Police said Adam Grabowski, 30, was killed in a weekend accident after the motorcycle he was driving and a Honda CRV,  driven by Leelo Linask, 44, of Monroe, collided.

Multiple 9-1-1 calls came in at 6:42 p.m. on Nov. 2, of an accident on Leavenworth Road (Route 110) near the White Hills Shopping Center.

Grabowski was ejected from the motorcycle onto the roadway after the motorcycle crashed into Linask’s car. Police said the two were traveling in the same direction.

Grabowski was pronounced dead on the scene.

Grabowski was a graduate of Emmet O’Brien Technical School, and was working as a commercial truck driver. For more details of funeral services, read his obituary here.

The Shelton Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 203-924-1544.

Shelton Police could not say whether Linask was injured in the accident.
