The Masuk High boys basketball team upended Bethel High, 57-53, in a South-West Conference game in Monroe on Tuesday night.
Dan Cahill scored 18 points to lead a trio of Panthers in double figures, as Masuk improved to 5-9 and Bethel dropped to 13-2.
Dominic Migliaro scored 15 points and Matt Gerak returned to the lineup for the first time this season and scored 11 points.
Coach John DeGennaro’s club used a 19-7 run in the third quarter to overcome the Wildcats’ 27-20 halftime lead.
Patrick Cheever knocked down two of Masuk’s five 3-pointers.
Migliaro was 8-for-8 from the foul line.
