Police found a Jeep Liberty flipped over on its roof on Route 111, near Ryegate Terrace, on Jan. 19 at about 10:45 a.m.
Police said the vehicle had swerved for an unknown reason, struck a curb and went airborne. It traveled about 70 feet from the impact with the curb before hitting a tree, turning over and landing on the vehicle’s roof.
The driver, a 47-year-old Trumbull woman, was the only occupant. The vehicle suffered serious damage, and no statements were taken from the driver.
