Masuk dominates second period

The Masuk High hockey team scored five goals in the second period on its way to a 7-2 victory over Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug on Monday.
Charlie Christo scored two goals, and Sean Shevlin, Riley Blozzon, Pat Andos, Chris Ruspini and Joe Damota also found the net for the Panthers (9-4).
Owen Bowler stopped 14 shots and Aidan Bowler nine by SLN (5-8).
David Reid, Luke Butkovsky, Ruspini and Shane Dushay had two assists each.
Christian Suda, Dan Zakrzewski and Shevlin had one each.
