Police: Jewelry missing from master bedroom in Monroe home

A Wells Road resident reported Feb. 3 that jewelry was missing from her home. She said it appears the items were taken from boxes in a master bedroom dresser sometime between Dec. 29, 2012 and the date of her complaint.

The resident said the boxes had been placed back in their original location so she had not realized something was stolen for awhile.

The home is occupied but on the real estate market, and a variety of people have been inside it during recent weeks, according to the report.

An inventory on the amount and value of the missing jewelry is being compiled.
