Bats 101: Wednesday, Feb. 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Linda Bowen, a state and U.S. Fish & Wildlife rehabilitator from Connecticut, presents Bats 101, a photo presentation featuring bats from tiny pups to adulthood. Bowen will share her knowledge and experience regarding this much maligned species. Discover how white nose syndrome has decimated their populations. The program does not include live animals and is more suited to adult audiences. Registration required.
Cupcake Day: Thursday, Feb. 14, 3-5 p.m.
Decorate cupcakes for a valentine with us. For all ages, limit one box of cupcakes per family (while supplies last), $3 donation to cover supplies.
ACT Practice Exam: Sunday, Feb. 24, noon-4 p.m.
Run by Kaplan Test Prep, students will get a phone call with results within two weeks to let them know what areas to improve through study. The test, free to participants, is four hours long with a brief break in the middle. Bring No. 2 pencils and a calculator, and be on time. Registration is required. Library opens at noon, so enter through the rear entrance if early.
