Writer’s bloc: I Spy a UFO

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the silver streak in the sky

is called an airplane.

It has wings to fly.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the noisy craft in the sky

is called a helicopter.

A propeller makes it fly.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

that string going by

is holding a kite.

The breeze sends it up high.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

Oh, Little One,

the rainbow in the sky

is a hot air balloon.

See it floating on by?

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the airship in the sky

is called a blimp.

It uses helium to fly.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the disc spinning by

is called a Frisbee.

It’s a toy you can try.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the machine whizzing by

is called a drone.

It hovers low and high.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

No, Little One,

the thing in the sky

is called a shooting star.

But, that’s a good try.

Mama, Mama,

look in the sky!

I spy a UFO

with my little eye.

Yes, Little One,

I do see the sky!

We better get inside.

Hurry up, Small Fry!
