Another winter storm is heading for Monroe and the area later this week. The timing could affect the commutes on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
There is a chance, according to the National Weather Service, that snow could begin after 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The expected high on Wednesday is 38 and the low is 25.

More snow is likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning, according to the weather service, which says the snow is most likely to fall between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. New snow accumulation could be 2 to 4 inches in Monroe. The chance of snow is 60%.
Temperatures will get into the 40s during the day on Thursday and Friday, with nighttime lows in the mid-20s.
Saturday and Sunday could feature some more snow showers as the temperatures get colder for the three-day holiday weekend (Monday is Presidents Day).
