Monroe Knights plan St. Patrick’s concert with Irish music

The Monroe Knights of Columbus will sponsor a St. Patrick’s Day celebration concert Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Jude Social Hall, 707 Monroe Tpke.

As in previous years, the event will be cabaret style and feature the songs and humor of the Keltic Kick Band.

Veteran front man Billy Donaldson leads this group of musicians who have performed throughout the Northeast for more than two decades at Irish festivals, university campuses and theatrical settings. Donaldson and fellow  band member Bill Ross have appeared annually at the St. Pat’s concert in Monroe.

The concert is BYOB; food and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $15 per person. All seating is by reservation only.

Concert proceeds will help support the Knights’ various charitable programs for the needy and disabled in the area.
