Police: Monroe homeowner says mailbox was damaged

A Crescent Place homeowner said her mailbox was found damaged Feb. 11 at about 10 a.m., most likely by a vehicle plowing snow.

Police logoPolice said it appears the mailbox was damaged by moving snow a few days after the big snowstorm.

The snow may have been pushed by a truck that slid off the road or that was moving snow near her driveway, according to the report.

It possibly could have been a private contractor working on a driveway other than that of the complainant, police said.
