Friday, Jan. 24
Farmers’ market — Benedict’s Home & Garden Farmers Market continues from 2 to 5 at Benedict’s, 480 Purdy Hill Road.

Saturday, Jan. 25
Bottle drive — Masuk Music is holding a can and bottle drive at the Village Square on Route 11, in the front parking lot, from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring redeemable cans and bottles. All proceeds will support Masuk Music programs.

Wednesday, Jan. 29
Caregivers — Caregiver “Chat” group, a support group for family caregivers, meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Monroe Senior Center, 235 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe in the Watson Library. Facilitated by licensed social worker Cathy Fisher and Joan E. Farley, Gerontologist. Registration required: Joan at 203-451-6328 or [email protected] by Jan. 27.

Friday, Jan. 31
Warmth — A fundraiser buffet dinner for the town’s Project Warmth energy assistance fund at the Stone Barn at Whitney Farms from 7 to 11 p.m. Free raffle ticket for each item donated to the food pantry. Tickets: Senior Center, Town Clerk’s Office, Last Drop Coffee Shop and at the door. More info: Barbara Yeager at 203-452-2815, ext. 4.

Sunday, Feb. 9
Wizardry — Monroe teachers will play basketball against the Harlem Wizards at 5:30 to benefit the Monroe Elementary School PTO. Tickets:  $10 in advance and $15 at the door; purchase at Creative Kids Craft Studio, 292 Elm Street, & I Spy Consignment, 415 Main Street, or online at harlemwizards.com.
