Senior girls lax remain unbeaten

The Monroe Youth Lacrosse Senior Girls team has gotten out to a fast start, outscoring their opponents by a combined 50-13 on their way to a 4-0 record.  

Offensively, the team has seen 11 players contribute to the score sheet. Gabby Crispino, Mary Henry, Sophia Keegan, Amelia Logan, Jessie Minch, Juliana Pagano, Lucy Pagel, Bridget Pfau, Ella Picci, Grace Stephens and Alexis Sullivan have each notched at least one goal or assist.

On the defensive side of the ball, goalie Ce Ce Tobin holds a stellar 3.25 goals-against-average. Helping her hold opponents at bay have been defenders Tara Cardi, Elizabeth DiBlasi, Alexa Ekstrom, Lauren Henry, Catie Kirk and Ella Rigby.

The Senior Girls will face the Pomperaug Seniors on Sunday, April 29, at 4 p.m. on the Masuk turf.
