Masuk boys track team now 10-0

The Masuk High boys outdoor track and field team remained unbeaten by sweeping a quad-meet on Tuesday.

The Panthers defeated Bethel, 92-58, Notre Dame-Fairfield, 145-5, and Weston, 80-70, to improve their record to 10-0 this season.

Conor Mahony and Braedon Gentry each won two individual events to lead Masuk. Mahony finished first in the 100-meter dash (11.1) and the 200-meter dash (22.7), while Gentry won the long jump (20’6”) and the triple jump (42’2”).

Also placing first for the Panthers were Mitch Hornak in the shot put (46’6”) and Austin Pompa in the discus (113’0”).

Ryan Hodska, Brendan Moretti, Aiden McShane, and Mahony combined to win the 4×400 relay in a time of 3:32.
