Bella Migliaro scored a goal assisted by Emily Lange and Masuk High’s field hockey team overcame an early second-half goal to salvage a 1-1 tie at South-West Conference rival Weston on Wednesday night.

Masuk stands at 0-2-1 and Weston has two deadlocks in as many games.

Weston’s Emma Nelson set up Mariel Zech just 1:35 into the second half, moments after Masuk goaltender Lauren Kusinski made a save.

The Panthers evened the score with 19:06 remaining.

They carried some momentum into overtime and registered the only three shots in the 10-minute 7-on-7 extra period.

Kulinski made five saves. Weston goalie Carolyn Zech ended the night with seven stops.
