Annual festival creates musical memories

Music filled the air Sunday as Monroe Congregational Church once again played host to its MusicFest. The annual event featured 13 acts, ranging from classical to bluegrass, folk to jazz, throughout the day within the church — the meeting house, the small and more intimate parlor, and Wilton Hall, a larger meeting room. Above, violinist Cameron Chase, an 18-year-old prodigy and Stratford native who has already performed internationally, plays. The Hat City Flutes entertain the crowds. — Bryan Haeffele photos
